Elise completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto after obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University. Elise has experience working as a vision therapist with paediatric clients of varying abilities to build visual and perceptual skills. She has worked with children and their families in a variety of settings while completing OT placements at Michael Garron Hospital, Canada’s National Ballet School, and Cherish Integrated Services. Elise is passionate about supporting children of all abilities to engage in meaningful activities and achieve their goals. Sydney completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto, following completion of a Bachelor of Arts in Therapeutic Recreation at the University of Waterloo. Sydney is dedicated to supporting children of all abilities to learn, grow, and thrive in fun and meaningful ways. Sydney brings paediatric experience from diverse roles including a Therapeutic Recreation Intern, Emergency Supply Teacher, Early Childhood Educator, and Disability Consultant. Through these experiences, she has supported children and youth with neurodivergence, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Intellectual Disabilities. Sydney has a passion for supporting children and families to reach their goals - whether that’s building social connections, regulating emotions and sensory needs, developing fine and gross motor skills, or engaging in meaningful daily activities. Alisha received her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2005. Her interest in working with children was sparked at SickKids hospital, during the final internship of her physical therapy training.

She has been working as a physiotherapist since 2006. She was the paediatric physiotherapist at a community hospital for many years, caring for paediatric inpatients, outpatients and as a member of the multi-disciplinary Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic team.

Madison is an Expressive Arts Therapist and Qualifying Psychotherapist who works primarily with children and individuals with varying cognitive and physical disabilities and neurodiversity. Madison works both 1:1 and in group settings, supporting individuals with self-expression, confidence, psychoeducation, and regulation. Her therapeutic method, the Expressive Arts, is a playful, somatic, sensory-rich, and creative approach to therapy. Madison’s work utilizes a wide array of artistic mediums: visual arts, movement, theatre, puppetry, and music. She is keen to incorporate the client’s interests into therapeutic strategies, is quick to adapt to the client’s needs, and maintains a client-centered, trauma-informed approach. Shehrose completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University in New York City in 2008. She has worked with children from birth to fifteen years of age, with a wide range of diagnoses including Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, selective mutism, sensory processing disorder, ADD, ADHD, fine motor, visual motor, handwriting and self help difficulties. Shehrose has worked in a variety of settings which include: public school, private school, schools for kids with special needs, daycares, hospitals, private clinics and homes. Shehrose is certified in Handwriting without Tears and has taken the SOS approach to feeding and sensory integration courses. Alannah earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto, following the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University. She brings a wealth of experience in treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions, as well as those with neurological and developmental challenges, in both in-patient and private practice settings. Currently, Alannah serves as a physiotherapist in the Orthopaedic Department at The Hospital for Sick Children, where she also works as a Clinical Evaluator in research studies aimed at characterizing childhood neuromuscular diseases and exploring potential therapies for muscle disorders. Nikola graduated with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Toronto Metropolitan University, where he was also a member of the varsity men’s basketball team. His physiotherapy education included valuable clinical experience through multiple 6-week placements in leading paediatric hospitals across Scotland. Driven by his previous work with the autistic community at Jake’s House, Nikola developed a deep passion for paediatric care. Nikola has also worked as a physiotherapy and occupation therapy assistant at Variety Village, providing hydrotherapy and fitness sessions in the gym.
