Jhaelyn completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Prior to this she completed her Bachelors of Biomedical Science at Trent University. Her passion for physiotherapy began during her years as a dancer and was further solidified after experiencing an injury of her own. That experience gave her firsthand insight into the impact that rehabilitation can have, and it drives her to help others return to the activities they love. Jhaelyn has completed clinical placements at SickKids and Kids Physio Group, where she worked with a variety of paediatric populations. She has also worked with patients across all age groups and is committed to providing individualized, evidence-based care to support each person’s unique goals and needs. Outside of the clinic, Jhaelyn enjoys staying active through exercise, spending time at her cottage, and going on adventures with friends. She brings the same energy and enthusiasm from her personal life into her practice, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for her patients. Jhaelyn is a member in good standing with with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and is working as a physiotherapy resident at the Abilities Centre in Whitby and providing home visits in in Whitby, Oshawa, Courtice, Bowmanville, Newcastle and Port Hope.

Michaela completed her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto after obtaining her Bachelors of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology with a certificate in Disability and Physical Activity from Queen’s University. Michaela has experience working as a personal support worker with paediatric clients with disabilities such as autism and cerebral palsy, as a physical activity coach, and as an Inclusion Specialist in a recreation setting. She has worked in a variety of settings with a paediatric population and has completed OT placements at the Hospital for Sick Children, the YMCA Academy, and Paediatric Physiotherapy Associates. Michaela has a passion for enabling children to participate in meaningful activities and overcome barriers to achieve their goals! In her free time, Michaela enjoys spending time outside with family and friends and her dog, Shiloh. She also enjoys playing sports and listening to music (especially Taylor Swift)! Michaela is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. Emma received her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa and her Masters of Physical Therapy at Queen’s University in 2012. She has experience in cardiac rehabilitation, adult out-patient orthopaedic physiotherapy and acute care.
Since 2014, she has been working at the Hospital for Sick Children with areas including intensive care, paediatric medicine, respirology, cardiology and renal transplant. She is also a guest lecturer for the Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto.
