Michaela completed her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto after obtaining her Bachelors of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology with a certificate in Disability and Physical Activity from Queen’s University. Michaela has experience working as a personal support worker with paediatric clients with disabilities such as autism and cerebral palsy, as a physical activity coach, and as an Inclusion Specialist in a recreation setting. She has worked in a variety of settings with a paediatric population and has completed OT placements at the Hospital for Sick Children, the YMCA Academy, and Paediatric Physiotherapy Associates. Michaela has a passion for enabling children to participate in meaningful activities and overcome barriers to achieve their goals! In her free time, Michaela enjoys spending time outside with family and friends and her dog, Shiloh. She also enjoys playing sports and listening to music (especially Taylor Swift)! Michaela is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She provides home visits in Scarborough and Markham and clinic visits at both Variety Village and the Abilities Centre.

Sydney completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto, following completion of a Bachelor of Arts in Therapeutic Recreation at the University of Waterloo. Sydney is dedicated to supporting children of all abilities to learn, grow, and thrive in fun and meaningful ways. Sydney brings paediatric experience from diverse roles including a Therapeutic Recreation Intern, Emergency Supply Teacher, Early Childhood Educator, and Disability Consultant. Through these experiences, she has supported children and youth with neurodivergence, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Intellectual Disabilities. Sydney has a passion for supporting children and families to reach their goals - whether that’s building social connections, regulating emotions and sensory needs, developing fine and gross motor skills, or engaging in meaningful daily activities. In her spare time, Sydney enjoys dancing, baking, and spending time with her family and friends! Sydney is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario. She provides therapy at our Variety Village location as well as home visits in Toronto and Scarborough.
